For more than 30 years our company has been active in the field of databases, customer information systems, patent data information systems, literature databases
and management information systems.
As early as 1989, we were a partner of STN International and developed the "STN Personal File System" for the STN network. At that time it was possible to transfer STN database downloads to a local system and to continue using the data locally. The search option was also adapted to the STN online system. With the advent of the Internet, the STN Personal File System was converted to server technology, so that the application could be controlled with a browser from that point on.
The company resides since 1996 in Kleinblittersdorf, directly at the German - French border. A good starting point for customers from all over Germany and Europe. Kleinblittersdorf, separated from France only by the Saar River, is also the venue of our annual Info Day, where customers are comprehensively informed in numerous lectures, demonstrations and discussions.

Everything is controlled with the Internet browser
All our applications are operated with standard browser functionality. Installation on each workstation of each user is therefore not necessary
for multi-user systems. The system is installed on the server side under a Windows server operating system. The interaction between database -
server software "InterHost 3000", a standard - web server like Apache or IIS (TM) and the internet - browser enables the customer to operate
even very complex systems with simplest means. The strict separation of database structure information, data stock and the various template
files, which are decisive for the appearance of the applications, brings numerous advantages..

The applications are used across industries, mainly in the areas of information/documentation, research & development, and patent
documentation/monitoring and literature management.
In our company, we always work together and coordinate closely. We see sales, development and customer support as a joint effort.
In total, our systems are used in companies that together have hundreds of thousands of employees. Our customers are supported from our headquarters in Kleinblittersdorf. We are proud of the fact that we support our customers in direct contact and do not refer them to a call center. It is possible for us to support and maintain our systems in many different ways.
Inhouse or hosted or in the Cloud
We prefer to offer XPAT as a customer in-house solution. The server is then located in the network of the customer, who can apply his
own IT security policies there. But because of the support effort, systems are also hosted by us for the customer. This is very favorable
in price, but has the disadvantage that the customer does not work in the same network as the server.
For maintenance we foresee the personal phone call, a remote maintenance solution such as with Teamviewer or the real remote access by us. It is ultimately up to the customer to decide on the approach.
Through years of experience, we have developed a network that can provide you, the customer, with search services, fee and payment services, as well as patent law support, in addition to software solutions from our company.
Short response times
We attach particular importance to short response times on which the customer depends. Once a year, we invite our customers to Kleinblittersdorf to discuss future developments in our products.
